So my only choice is coffee.

SIGH, haven't really felt up to drawing anything as of late. I mean, I've been drawing here and there. Little doodles in notebooks et cetera, et cetera. Nothing real. But hey, a few good days of rest away from school (spring break~!) might get me back on track artistically.

On another note. In five minutes it'll be the 15th anniversary of my birth! Whoooo!

We plan on celebrating with a trip downtown, some yummy tea and a picnic by the lake.

I'll wear my new gypsy sandals and be constantly thinking about my lovely new vintage Schwinn bike, Ruby.

So, here's what's what.

I am the make-up girl/assistant stage manager for my school's spring play, Twelve Angry Men. Today through Saturday are our performances (yaayyy!). Of course, I have to get to the school at 4:15 to start make-up... and it doesn't end until 9 o' clock in the pm, so you all probably will see very very little of me at least until Sunday, though probably until next week (booo). Meaning no drawing 'til next week. The only thing i'll be painting is a bunch of actor's faces (the guys are so helpless with make-up for the most part, it really is adorable xD).

But yeah, you guys get it. ^^;

I woke up this morning (err, afternoon) and really just wanted to keep sleeping. Last night's conversation had been heavy on my mind (but in a good way, thanks for the talk babe, you know you you are), and I really didn't want to go anywhere. But I log onto facebook and hey! :devwhorebath: is all "come over to my house!" so I'm like, "hmmm... should I?" and I think, "eh, why not", so I ride my bike there, and it's super nice out so I get super happy.

So, after more than a few hours of studying for my geometry exam, I'm getting ready for bed and in the corner of my living room (where I've been sleeping... the couch is so comfy) there's this spider. And it's just the perfect kind to send me into a fit of arachnophobia. A medium-sized black Orb spider with thin long legs and a huge round abdomen.

I spent the first five minutes shaking in my t-shirt, cursing the heavens and just wanting to sleep. I then tried to negotiate terms with my brother on which he would come out and kill it for me. He refused all offers.

So, hello everyone. If it seems I've been a bit distant the past few days, it's because I've traded in (without wanting to) one terrible sleep schedule for a worse one. Originally, my hours of sleep were generally from 6 am to 2 pm. Now, without my wanting, they are from 10 pm to 4 am. And I am tired ALL THE TIME.

So here I am to apologize for messages unchecked and unanswered. Chats left abandoned and AIM/Hotmail that has been on but I just haven't been biting. I am honestly so tired guys, I just want a sleep schedule that doesn't make me into a zombie. That's be nice, I think.

I was woken up at 8:30 am today by my cat, Cheyenne, who is terrified to no end of thunderstorms. It's storming something wild and she was meowing the the saddest way at me, so I had to get up and hold her going, "Shhhhh, it's okay Chey, it's okay." For a half an hour until she calmed down.

And now I can't fall back asleep.

I'll be hanging out in chats today, maybe get through the 68 message buildup, working on a few things I need to get done since I can't really go anywhere, considering the weather.

Aaaaaand I'm back. It ended up getting pretty warm and very lovely. We hung around the zoo for a good several hours b'awwing at cute little monkeys and watching otters fight. I befriended an adorable goat and pet my favorite camel in the greater Milwaukee area, Alfred. Then we got ice cream and spent our sweet time eating it while scaring mothers and their children with our loud, obnoxious corner conversation.

After all this, we went back to :devrave4daze:'s house to play guitar hero world tour and american idol and generally have an awesome time.

So I totally saw Where the Wild Things Are last night.

It was, quite possibly, one of the best movies I have seen all year

THE BASICS: write a Christmas/Holiday wish list. It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. People look and grant the wishes if they can. It's not about "OMFG PRESENTS", it's about making someone else's holiday a little brighter by giving. Personally, I get more out of giving than receiving sometimes. It's just a good feeling to give.
